TULLAROAN won valuable points when they beat Tullogher/Rosbercon in the Michael Lyng Motors Intermediate Hurling League Group A in Dunnamaggin on Saturday.

Tullaroan got there by 0-20 to 1-20 in a hard fought game that could have gone either way.

In other intermediate games St Lachtain’s beat Graigue Ballycallan by 1-20 to 1-16 in Urlingford and Glenmore beat Thomastown by 1-10 to 0-20 in Dr Tierney Park, Graignamanagh.

The latter games were also in Group A of the competition.

In Group B Lisdowney had a deserved 2-2- to 1-14 win over Young Irelands of Gowran in St John’s Park; St Martin’s won the points at the expense of Mooncoin, 0-14 to 1-17 in Bennettsbridge.

John Lockes of Callan beat the Fenians of Johnstown by 1-17 to 0-17 at Páirc Sheamuis Stiophán.
