Business boost for local pride

    A SUPER Goresbridge Field Day in Cois Bearbha was organised by Cois Bearbha Co-Op and the local St Patrick’s Day Parade Committee. 

    Festivities finished with music in Maher’s Bar. Main sponsors were Décor Moulds.

    The gate prize sponsored by the Lord Bagenal Inn was won by Deirdre Geoghegan.

    Cabaret door prize of a Gourmet Grill voucher was won by Verena Perce.

    Fr Jimmy Kelly won champagne and Bonnie Dunphy won Galway Crystal.

    Locals helped to run stalls and events. Great credit is due to all volunteers.

    Loom band winner was Jessie King who also guessed the number of sweets in a jar.
