PICTURED at Lidl Waterford Road, Kilkenny at the prize handover for Lidl’s LGFA Club Competition were representatives from the Juvenile LGFA Club Muckalee.
The club won the competition which called on supermarket customers to nominate their local club to win a set of jerseys and equipment.
Muckalee Juvenile Ladies Gaelic Football Association Club was one of 154 lucky clubs across the country winning a total of €250,000 worth of jerseys and equipment raised from the sale of promotional packs of Lidl’s Carrick Glen 6-pack of water.
Ten cents from every purchase was donated to the jersey and equipment fund which ran across all stores.
Included in picture is the juvenile team. all pupils at St Brendan’s National School, Muckalee with Mary Menton who nominated the club, Margaret McGuinness, secretary and Marion Murphy, Deputy Store Manager.
