MASTER butchers from O’Brien’s Butchers, Loughboy Shopping Centre are looking forward to treating our people to a family fun afternoon on this Saturday from noon to 2pm.
According to owner James O’Brien, who took over from dad Gerry O’Brien the family have been open for business for 38 years, ever since his father and mother opened the doorsin 1980. “This party is to thank all our loyal customers, without whom we wouldn’t be here today,” he told The Reporter.
O’Brien’s Butchers promises a party of fun and food with MC Siobhan Donohoe and chef Anne Neary who will take on Fr. Willie Purcell in a barbeque cook-off.
The new chefs at O’Brien’s will cook for old and new customers, with children’s entertainment and treats.
At a photoshoot James said he was honoured to have many
well-known faces to support him and his new venture.
Guests will be hurling star TJ Reid, Miss Kilkenny Niamh de Brun and chefs Edward Hayden with Anne Neary.
