A YOUNG person from Ossory Youth Service is pictured with Martina Maher, Ossory Youth Service announcing details of Run For Fun, a new initiative from the Irish Youth Foundation (IYF) and Vhi to encourage young people living in disadvantaged communities in Kilkenny to embrace the benefits offered through running.
Fennelly Fitness has been involved with the development of the programme to engage with young people who attend Ossory Youth Service Kilkenny.
The mission of the programme is to empower and build the self-esteem of young people through a
12-week fitness and nutrition programme with running at its heart.
Run For Fun, developed by Vhi and IYF, is a pilot programme which is also being piloted in Youth Centres in Dublin and Cork.
