JERUSALEM Tomorrow comes to the Watergate Theatre on March 15.
Jerusalem is a mystery play for the 21st century, a radical re-telling of the story of Mark’s gospel.
Eight characters whose paths crossed with the travelling preacher tell their stories,
There is the pig farmer who lost his livelihood when his herd was driven off a cliff; the taxi driver who drove one of his followers to Jerusalem; Peter, the fisherman, who abandoned his children to follow him; a musician who lost her love to his words.
With a cast of four and using an exciting and challenging mixture of words and music, the play, adapted and directed by John MacKenna, follows the huge success of the company’s previous production, Between Your Love and Mine, which sold out on a national tour last summer.
