A LEADING fashion and art competition has just announced its regional finalists.

The thrifty student collected a vast array of unwanted junk to fashion an entry which sees the school go forward to compete in the southern regional final of the competition on March 9 in the University Concert Hall, Limerick.
Now in its eight year Ireland’s leading fashion and art competition for secondary schools challenges students to create original and innovative outfits from recycled materials and junk.
