Tally Ho: Colourful hunt keeps tradition

IT WAS colourful, it was seasonal and it was all part of a long standing tradition.

Following Christmas celebrations, the huntsmen of the Kilkenny Hunt on their beautifully groomed horses and with a disciplined pack of hounds were delighted to flex their muscles in the great outdoors.

The annual outing of the hunt in the Hugginstown, Carrickshock, Coolmore and Ballyhale area started and finished on the roads of Hugginstown.

The hunt clip clopped and barked its way down rural roads before taking to the fields.

It was Tally Ho and no doubt Foxy was keeping his head well below the parapet.
