FAMILIES and friends came together to ring in the New Year and to boost the purse of a hard working local charity.

The Teach Tom Thomas Hayes Trust Gala Ball at Hotel Kilkenny on New Year’s Eve was well supported, excellently organised and provided great entertainment for young and young at heart who were delighted to support a worthy cause as they welcomed 2018.

Festivities began with a pre-dinner drinks’ reception followed by a four-course meal and dancing was to the very popular The Works Band.

All proceeds from the €45 a head platter, very good value for money, went to the Thomas Hayes Trust Fund which provides counselling and supports for suicide awareness in the community.

Teac Tom and friends were delighted to receive sponsorship from Hotel Kilkenny, Ferrycarrig Hotel, Wexford, Glasson Lounge, Louis Fitzgerald, TC Tyres, Kapellia, SuperValu, Kilkenny, Design Centre, Dick Dooley Family Butchers, Graham’s Shoes, The Book Centre, Kilkenny Cafe, Ryan Jewellers, Meubles Restaurant, Tiffany’s, Maria’s Cakes, Artists by Night, Lismore Food Company, Fennelly Fitness, Top Notch Hair Salon, Infinity Fitness.
